One Easy Change To Point You In The Right Direction…
I know this isn’t the sexiest of topics, but it needs to be said…
MOST of your results in life are psychological – both good and bad.
Last week I had a meeting out of town with a group of entrepreneurs that brought me in for a little mini “dream session”.
Yes, a dream session.
What the heck is that? Basically, they hired me to help them break free from their limiting beliefs and expand their view of what’s possible in this world.
You see, often a business has a “glass ceiling”… but that’s usually put there by the owner. NOT by the market. NOT by the economy. NOT by the staff. NOT by the law. Etc.
It’s the OWNER of a business that typically decided, for what ever reason, where the top of their potential is. And unfortunately, that’s often WAY lower than it could – and should – be.
And this is exactly why we love people like Elon Musk – because he exemplifies what it’s like to have no ceiling, to believe anything is possible and to quite literally reach for the stars.
Listen, business is 80% psychology, 20% tactic.
And the KEY to getting your mind right is to change how you talk to YOURSELF about you, your business, your potential, the market, etc.
Here’s the thing to remember… don’t keep talking about it unless you want it to keep happening.
Want to grow your business? Don’t keep telling yourself “Sudbury just won’t support my growth goals”.
Want to lose weight? Don’t keep saying “everything I look at turns to fat”
Want to connect with your kids? don’t keep saying “they’d rather be playing video games than playing with me”.
Sure, we may not say these things out loud – but don’t kid yourself, if you thought it, you said it, and your brain knows it.
It all starts in the mind.
Get your beliefs right, remove the blinders and GROW.
Remember, 80% of your businesses potential GROWTH is psychology.
